Little-doggy. [Those fingers curl, digging into ribs softly, moving in rather slow tickling motions. The point is to get you to laugh and lighten up, Syaoran. The relaxation will come later.]

Big-Kitty [He returns, and the laughter comes out more easily, wiggling in Fai's grip.]

F-Fai! Stop...I...[He can't breath and he's laughing too hard.]

[There's a soft laugh as he shifts, moving his fingers over the other's back and sides more quickly, pressing harder and tickling more intensely.]

Ah~ I'm afraid I can't do that until you've said the magic word, Syao-Syao.

[And Syaoran is going to be attempting to roll in the grass away from him, both kittens out of the way easily enough.]

P-please? Fa-hahaha!

[You underestimate him, you know that, Syaoran?

He uses the momentum of Syaoran trying to roll away along with what his own leg's generated to bring them both down into the grass. Their new position allowed him to hover over the other, fingers moving rapidly over the new expanse presented.]

Oh my~ I'm afraid I couldn't understand you.

[He's trying his best not to squirm, because if he really starts kicking that might hurt, and so his hands come out instead, pressing against Fai to attempt to push him off and make him stop his tickle assault.] Fai, please stop! I...Its starting to hurt.

[And he'll just be laughing harder, Oh. His poor sides.]

[Now, now, no need to get violent with it. Although he would probably admit that he deserved it.]

And~ Do you promise not to call me that anymore?

[His touches become softer and lighter, but they don't stop.]

Y-yes Mom! [He isn't laughing quite as hard, but still laughing. His chest heaving. Oh, you are such a brat Fai.] I Pr-ehehehe...Promise.

Good boy.

[His fingers slow and then finally stop, hands flattening to move over Syaoran's abused sides, smoothing over the fabric of his shirt, as if to ease the ache he knows he left there.

And look, you're even going to get a kiss to the forehead before he stands up.]

You know, Syaoran. Someone once told me that a smile was a form of healing magic. It might not be able to heal your wounds, but it could heal your heart instead. Seeing your smile and hearing your laugh heals my heart.

[Taking in a few more deep breaths to soothe his sides, he finally sits up, watching Fai, unable to keep the smile off his face now.]

Thank you...I think my heart needed that too.

[His knees bend, weight balancing on the balls of his feet as he drops over. Gentle fingers push over grown bangs out of Syaoran's eyes, lingering as always over his right.]

Are you certain you wouldn't like me to come stay with you, Syaoran? At least for tonight.

[Syaoran shifts, resting his weight on his knees and catching Fai's hand with his own, squeezing it.]

I appreciate the offer, but you don't have to Fai. I'm positive I will be fine. This has helped a little.

How very grown up you are, Syaoran. [His is soft and warm, real in a way that was reserved only for his most special people.] I'm so very proud of you.

[His cheeks turn the softest shade of red, Syaoran returning the smile before letting go of his hand, settling both his own in his lap.]

Thank you, mom.

You're very welcome, sweetheart.

[You know, you really are very adorable when you blush, Syaoran. It's almost endearing.]

[And then there is a pause, and he'll just be staring up at you Fai.]

Actually...perhaps I can just stay here for the night...walking back doesn't sound very inviting. Is that alright, Fai?

[You ask that like you're afraid he's going to tell you now, Syaoran. He's the fun parent for a reason, remember?]

If you would like. I'm certain Yuui wouldn't sharing his room with you for the night.

[Oh, Fai. Don't you know? He wants to sleep in the middle.]

That...would be fine. [Except really he'd rather sleep with you in yours.]

[You want to sleep in his room with him.

And Kurogane.

You know, Syao-dear~ I'm sure Yuui wouldn't be offended if you choose to sleep my room instead.

[If he's depressed like he is, he really hopes you wouldn't wake up to make out in the middle of the night while he's sleeping in the middle.

You wouldn't, would you? But...he tries to hide his smile at the second offer.] If you and Kurogane wouldn't mind...

[Of course he wouldn't. Despite how he might act, he does respect you desire to not see certain things. And it'd be kind of awkward trying to do anything with your son laying between you.

He can't promise there won't be a good night kiss, however, but you're probably expecting that.]

And just how~ Did you know that mommy and daddy are sharing a room, hm?

[Syaoran at least manages to blush at the question. He's rather predictable isn't he?]

It was an assumption...though, if you still lived in the castle, I would have liked the both of you to share a room with me too...We always used to share one... [It's a comfort to have the both of you near him, no matter how much he might be embarrassed to admit it.]

[Yes, Syaoran. Yes you are.

He wants to make a joke about you missing having someone to cuddle up to in your sleep, but for once, he holds his tongue.]

Then perhaps we should start having sleep overs more often.

I'm a little too old for sleep overs, aren't I, Fai?

Are you? Then perhaps you're too old to sleep in bed with mommy and daddy as well, hm?
